What is different about GreenSense Faucets as compared to conventional
Faucets?

GreenSense Faucets are developed according to internationally accepted guidelines for high efficiency lavatory faucets laid down by organizations like EPA (Environmental Protection Agency – USA), U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) which are leading the global efforts in water conservation.

Regular faucets discharge around 3 to 7 GPM (Gallons per Minute) or around 11 to 19 LPM (Liters per Minute) of water at 60 psi input pressure.

GreenSense Faucets discharge around 1.9 LPM or 0.5 GPM which represents around 85% water savings as compared to regular sensor faucets and more than 90% as compared to manual faucets.

'GreenSense faucets are available in 0.5GPM, 1.05 GPM & 1.7 GPM water discharge ratings at 80 psi’.

Additionally, all the GreenSense Faucets are also compliant with the Indian Green Building Council’s (IGBC) guidelines of maximum flow rate of 2.5 GPM or 9.5 LPM at water pressure of 80 psi. Our research shows that the faucets in commercial buildings like offices, manufacturing units, retail & service establishments, institutional buildings (Libraries, schools, museums, temples, churches etc.), hotels and airports are primarily used for hand washing & other sanitary activities such as face washing & razor rinsing. Hence, we believe that the maximum flow rates can be reduced enough without sacrificing on user satisfaction. The advantage of saving nearly 90% of water far outweighs any small increases in wait times for the user.
